Final Fantasy Teen Titans

FOR THE LOVE OF PETE, FULL VIEWWWWW!!!!!!!

I know I said I’d never do fanart… but this idea was too cool to not draw out. I liked how the titans came out and I wanted to color it… next thing I knew I spent the day working on it on and off.

Anyways, this is my interpretation of what the Teen Titans would look like if they were characters in a Final Fantasy Game.

I made a story to it, too. Everyone in this picture is royalty of some sort. Terra, being the big dumb blonde that she is, gets captured. Raven, being the serious and future-predicting person that she is, has a premonition of Terra’s kidnapping and goes on a journey to save the Earth Princess. On the way she meets the Beast King, who is betrothed to the Earth Princess, and he isn’t too happy that Terra was kidnapped. Raven and the Beast King continue to quest throughout the land until they come across a league of bandits. The Leader, Cy, at first tries to mug them, but then realizes that robbing the armed royalty is not the best idea. He hears the story of the Terra heist and joins the pilgrimage to save her.

As the story progresses, the trees and plants begin to die. Raven, the all-knowing psychic explains that because the Princess was removed from her throne, the energy she channeld was severed, and thus the earth’s ailment. As she elucidates, a rather tall redheaded female wonders what is going on and bothers the Raven until everything is explained again. The noble green eyed woman begs to be a part of the adventure, and is quickly accepted into the group of wanderers.

Now, as they near the point where Raven believes Terra to be held, they confront a blind boy who sits in the middle of the path. He spits out a series of riddles and says that the group has to answer them correctly, or fight the blind boy. Cy goes off on a sarcasm spree about how the group will be caned to death if they fail to answer the questions. The blind boy forgets the riddles and attacks. Beast King, angry that he has been separated from his betrothed, takes on blind boy… and wins.

The blind boy introduces himself as the exiled prince of Bel-air. He was driven out of his land because demons hide behind his eyes, and when he opens them, the demons will escape and destroy the world. The redheaded woman feels much sympathy and drags the blind prince with them. She inquires his name and finds out that he is called ‘Robin’ and she states her name ‘Starfire.’

Anyways, finally the endpoint is reached and a bunch of end-bosses spring up and try to clobber the group. The group of crusaders win every time. Eventually, Beast King finds Earth Princess and they have a mushy reunion.

The kidnapper comes forth and is all “AHAHA, NOW YOU MUST FACE ME!!!!!!1111ONEEE!”

Blind Prince Robin shouts, “TEEN FRIENDS, GO!” and then… lots of fighting and kidnapper n00b is defeated. Beast King and Earth Princess wed. The Earth is normal gain. Starfire and Robin hook up. And Cy brings Raven back to the bandits with him so she can become their queen. Oh… and Robin stays blind… because I don’t like him.
